Distractions and sticking points can come at you from all directions. These are usually subconscious blocks preventing you from achieving greater success. When you don’t know what you’ll experience until you do, it can be exactly that unknowingness that holds you back.
It is reasonable to think that you have found this post and follow my blog because you have an interest in developing your personal brand and style. There are a few stumbling blocks that can get in the way of actually doing it though. I would sum them all up by explaining that you don’t know what you’ll experience until you do.
You must have a definite reason, and a reasonably high interest in developing your personal brand and style, or you wouldn’t be here. And, I commend you for taking such an interest in yourself. When you develop something so integral, and so powerful, about your presence, it directly affects your ability to lead and to be even more successful than you presently are.
But are you ready for all of that? You don’t know what you’ll experience until you do.
It’s clear that even highly successful individuals are fearful of success. If you’re handling the level you’re at now, and are afraid of it shooting at you with the force of an exploded fire hydrant, that’s saying a couple of things. First, the idea that success could come at you with such a strong force points to the fact that you know more success is within the realm of possibility for you. This is a good thing! If you think you are incapable of handling more success, and reaping the rewards of it, that’s a sticking point. And, it’s a sticking point because it takes you into territory where you’ve not yet been.
But isn’t that exactly where you are meant to go? You don’t know what you’ll experience until you do.
When you don’t know what you’ll experience until you do, your mind will throw every reason at you to do absolutely nothing. A successful person looks beyond fears and sees freedom.
You have to know that you are worthy of the success, of the positive results, and of the responsibilities that come with even greater success. A great secret about developing your personal brand and style is that once you are managing the environment that is YOU, managing the success becomes easier and takes less effort.
All of this is to demonstrate that the toughest sticking point is actually to get started, to take an action. I’ve heard many reasons why people put off working on developing their personal brand and style. “I didn’t grow up thinking about any of this.” “My upbringing is very humble.” “I need more resources than what I thought it will actually take.” “I think this is more than what I think I need.”
Each of these one-liners represents a story. Do you relate to any of them, or have your own? For you, or for whoever owns this inner dialogue, it feels real. However, it’s nothing more than a paralysis of the mind because you rationally know that to develop your presence is a smart thing to do. The emotional component of this work is where you may get tripped up because you don’t know what you’ll experience until you do!
It’s a catch 22. It’s the dog trying to chase its tail. Around and around your mind goes, until you just give up. Doing nothing should not be an option. This keeps you from moving toward being your very best self. Who gets to that place while staying stuck? Duh, it doesn’t happen.
What kinds of results can be guaranteed from the work of developing your personal brand and style? The answer is unique to each person. But, I can tell you that their one-line stories prove that they are not stuck, that they are even more successful, and that they are standing in their full power.

None of these clients could claim to have known it all along. They are just like you and me. They didn’t know what they would experience until they did.
Don’t you deserve the opportunity to have what they have? It’s right there waiting for you. You don’t know what you’ll experience until you do, that’s for sure.
